En Garde is by the world famous Preferent Stallion Gribaldi, sire of the sensational,  world record holder Totilas.

Gribaldi was bred by Marika Werner in Germany and was out of elite mare Gondola II. He sold as a foal to Otto Langels, who presented him at the Trakehner Stallion Licensing in 1995. The colt then sold at auction for 300,000 DM (150,000 euro) to Dutch stallion owners Joop van Uytert and Rinus de Jong. In 1996 Gribaldi was approved by the KWPN society.

Gribaldi was proclaimed Elite Stallion by the Trakehner society in 2003 and keur stallion by the KWPN society in 2004. In 2008 he was Trakehner Stallion of the Year. Of 707 KWPN registered Gribaldi mares, at least 332 received the star predicate. He sired Grand Prix horses and Dutch A-team horses Totilas, Sisther de Jeu, and Painted Black. Gribaldi was proclaimed a preferent sire by the KWPN society at the 2010 KWPN Stallion Licensing. Gribaldi has, to date produced 16 licensed sons.

En Garde LPR’s dam Vibrant LPR is KEUR (by Orame) In 2005, Vibrant LPR was #3 in Jumping and #4 in conformation at the North American Keurings, and  was Champion Mature Horse at the 2005 Pennock Point Keuring. Again Vibrant LPR was champion mature horse at the 2010 Pennock Point Keuring, with an exceptionally high score on her performance test.

Vibrant LPR’s  dam Pasandra,  was purchased by Nancy Debosek, in the Netherlands  Pasandra was chosen,  based on her pedigree, powerful gaits, superb conformation and kind temperament. To date she has produced stunning foals all being awarded First Premium status. Two of her fillies, Vibrant LPR and Zanzibar LPR have gone on to place in the top five in their category at the North American Keurings. Vibrant LPR was declared KEUR Eligible and half sister, Zanzibar LPR acquired her KEUR status at the young age of four!

Pasandra's son Ahero LPR was the number two, two year old Hunter type KWPN colt in North America!

Pasandra's pedigree reads like a Who's Who of Dutch horses. Sire Wellington, was a KEUR stallion with high indices in both dressage and jumping. Grandfather on her sires side is the famous Nimmerdor, who was awarded Dutch "Stallion of the Century". Both her sire's dam Patty, and her dam's dam Zinda are KEUR Preferent. Her Dam sire is the famous Preferent  stallion Flemmingh.

Pasandra is also the mother of, Wruben LPR  (by OO Seven) name since changed to Wonders of OO7. Wruben is winning in the Florida dressage ring under amateur rider/owner Linda Gainey.
