Gastronom stood for seven years at the state stud in Celle, West Germany before being imported to the United States.

Gastronom was fully approved by both the German Verband and the American Hanoverian Society.

Gastronom was known as a broodmare sire. He sired many Staatspraemien mares as well as the elite German approved stallion Gaspano.

Gastronom had very high marks for jumping ability and character. He was trained in dressage to the Grand Prix level.

Gastronom had three correct gaits. He was a proven high quality producer of sport horses and breeding stock. We feel very fortunate to own his daughter Gjezebel and continue his legacy.
