Pacific won the Stallion Test in 2000. He obtained the highest points in years. He received for jumping 9, 8, 8½ and 9 and for gaits 7½, 7, 8½, 7½, and if that's not enough, He was also winner of the stallion competition, Pacific competed at International level with his rider W.J. van der Schans. Besides all these victories he also placed 2nd at a 1.50 class in Oldenburg, 3rd & 4th in Donauschingen, 4th 1.40 Leeuwarden, 4th 1.40 Gijon, etc. Zurich's Dam sire was the Hanoverian Stallion Gastronom, Gastronom stood for seven years at the state stud in Celle, West Germany before being imported to the United States. Gastronom was fully approved by both the German Verband and the American Hanoverian Society. Gastronom was known as a broodmare sire. He sired many Staatspraemien mares as well as the elite German approved stallion Gaspano. Gastronom had very high marks for jumping ability and character. He was trained in dressage to the Grand Prix level. Gastronom had three correct gaits. He was a proven high quality producer of sport horses and breeding stock. We feel very fortunate to own his daughter Gjezebel (Zurich's Dam) and continue his legacy. Here at Lone Palm Ranch, we just can't say enough about our wonderful "Ricky". Zurich has three tremendous gaits, with much elasticity and natural rhythm. He loves to work and learns his lessons easily. Zurich is SMART!
